Dymaptic Wrapped
Personally, I get a bit bothered when sites like Spotify and Goodreads start giving my year-end recaps in early December. What happens to the books I read and music I listen to in December? That data is just lost to the ages, I guess. So, it’s with that in mind that we’re posting our 2024 recap today. We’re already a month deep into the new year, but we wanted to share some team highlights from last year.
Esri Gold Partnership – we achieved a new status as an Esri Gold Partner within the Esri Partner Network (EPN) in 2024, and we are eager to continue driving innovation for our clients in the application of ArcGIS technology.
Esri Specialties – also on the Esri front, we were awarded two new Esri specialties: one for demonstrating our expertise in helping clients implement and use ArcGIS Hub, and one for our extensive work in the State & Local Government industry.
GeoBlazor Pro – in addition to providing services, dymaptic also licenses our own software products. GeoBlazor Pro had a big year, launching in full production! GeoBlazor allows developers to harness the power of ArcGIS maps in .NET Web Apps.
Five Year Milestone – CEO Mara Stoica celebrated five years at dymaptic, and shared her reflections on our company culture.
The Best Team – speaking of company culture, our team worked plenty hard this year, delivering over a hundred projects to clients – large and small, new and returning, and across industries. We also took time for fun stuff – from monthly virtual socials and a company retreat in Portland. Oh, and we also grew our team in 2024, adding three more technical folks!
Maggie Moeller - Software Engineer | Richard Zwaap - Software Architect | Amara Ede - Project Manager
The Conference Scene – we also traveled far and wide to connect with GIS users at conferences! How far? Here’s a list of the places we covered:
- Esri Federal GIS Conference (Washington, DC)
- Esri Partner Conference & Developer Summit (Palm Springs, CA)
- Nonprofit Technology Conference (Portland, OR)
- MidAmerica GIS Consortium Symposium (Omaha, NE)
- Esri Energy Resources GIS Conference (Houston, TX)
- ORURISA GIS In Action (Portland, OR)
- Esri User Conference (San Diego, CA)
- Kentucky GIS Conference (Louisville, KY)
- URISA GIS Pro (Portland, Maine)
- Esri European Dev Summit (Berlin, Germany)
2024 was a great year for dymaptic – for all the reasons listed above, plus tons of other great work and meaningful moments that we can’t possibly fit into one post. We especially appreciate all of our clients and partners and look forward to what we can accomplish in 2025.
